ABSTRACT
The present work addresses a current problem around environmental education of the new generations and the contribution of the pedagogical group in the interdisciplinary orientation of learning for this purpose, using the landscape as a didactic resource that enhances knowledge, in addition to offer direct ways for the formation of attitudes favorable to the care and conservation of the environment in students of Basic Secondary. For its development, observation, surveys of teachers and students, documentary analysis and triangulation were used as research methods and techniques, from which it was possible to collect and process the information, as well as to reveal its main conclusions. The results obtained in the application of the experience in a group of 21 ninth grade students and 11 teachers, all from the same educational center, allowed us to identify the transformations achieved in the subjects investigated, particularly in the quality of student learning and the enrichment of their personological resources. In the course of the investigation, the modifications achieved in the state of satisfaction of teachers and students were revealed, based on higher levels of motivation for what they have learned, which translate into the ability to transfer what they have learned to care for the environment, as well as employment ways to involve the community in the care and conservation of the environment.
