ABSTRACT
The formation of emotional intelligence as a substantial aspect of the integral formation of the preschool education professional enhances their pedagogical capacities together with logical reasoning, creativity, motivation for the profession, and self-references, taking advantage of the affective experience and promoting feelings, emotions and positive states of mind that contribute to optimizing the training of these professionals. The objective of this article is to offer an educational strategy for emotional formation, whose application guarantees the development of adequate social and affective relationships of preschool students in their undergraduate training, not only in the university but in the context where they work. With children from 0 to 6 years old, which is where greater tolerance, empathy, and emotional self-control are necessary before the society that intends to lead all its members to human progress, for this purpose the methods of analysis and synthesis were used and the system approach, document analysis, observation and interviews that facilitated the modeling of the investigated process. The qualitative evaluations resulting from the application are exposed, a group interview is exposed that favored the pedagogical emotional formation in the subjects involved during the investigation.
